Nature therapy (also known as eco or green therapy) is a formal therapeutic treatment which involves doing outdoor activities in nature. 

There is no singular definition of nature therapy, but it describes regular, structured activity that is led by trained professionals and involves targeted interventions to achieve a specific goal. 

Nature therapy centres on the belief that people are connected to and impacted by the natural environment.  The beneficial effects of nature result not just from what we see, but from what we experience with our other senses too!  Nature therapy uses a variety of activities aimed to foster growth and healing of one’s mental and physical wellbeing.
