Life can start to feel unmanageable when your nervous system is overloaded, your energy is depleted, or daily tasks take more effort than they should. 

You might be struggling with daily tasks like cooking, cleaning, planning your day, or getting out of the house. You may feel anxious, overwhelmed, burnt out, or disconnected from the person you used to be. You might know something isn’t working — but not know how to change it. 

1:1 Occupational Therapy offers a supportive, practical, and compassionate space to understand what’s getting in the way and to build a way of living that genuinely works for you.  

A Flexible, Person-Centred Approach

There is no single “right” way for therapy to look. 

Sessions are shaped around you, your nervous system, your environment, and your goals. 

Depending on what supports you best, sessions may take place: 

We begin by meeting you exactly where you are, then move at your pace.  

We aim to see you within 2 weeks of your accepted referral, much faster than statutory services, so you don’t sit on a waiting list.

Occupational Therapy looks at the whole of your life — not just symptoms. 

Through gentle assessment, conversation, and observation, we explore:  

From this, we create realistic, meaningful goals and a personalised therapy plan that may include home-based sessions, nature-based sessions, or a combination of both, depending on what best supports you.

This work is not about fixing you.
It’s about understanding what you need to feel regulated, capable, and more at ease in everyday life. 

Integrative Therapy Approach

Alongside Occupational Therapy, I draw on a range of therapeutic modalities to support emotional wellbeing, regulation, and healing.
These are integrated thoughtfully, not applied as separate techniques.

Nature-Based Occupational Therapy

When helpful, sessions may take place outdoors; a local woodland, park, garden, or other calm natural space. 

Nature, when used, is a regulating and supportive space, not something you need to “do” or perform in.
 
Many people find that being outdoors:  

You don’t need to be outdoorsy or adventurous. Nature meets you gently, wherever you are. 

Practical Outcomes

  • Creating realistic, flexible routines
  • Improving sleep and energy balance
  • Building confidence and self-trust
  • Supporting emotional regulation and resilience
  • Reconnecting with your identity and sense of self
